what can i do?ĭo you think it is just the fact i have a long ethernet cable (cate5e) from my router to the switch and becuase the cable is long it can be more tempremental and more prone to disconnect and have problems etc. I have the router in dmz for my ps3 ip adresss, i have turned off media sharing, the ps3 is latest firmware. because im sometimes online on ps3 and netbook sametime aswell as desktop pc.
I was wondering could this be happening becuase there too much activity on my network therefore causing it to disconnect? i.e. it will jusst sign me out on the ps3 randomly sometimes once a day and up to about 5 or more. i checked the cables were in correctly and they are. However it sometimes disconnects and signs me out my ps3. I have along 12m ethernet cable (cat5e) running from my router and this goes into a hub switch from the hub switch i have connected 2 more ethernet cables to a ps3 and a netbook, so to put it simple i have extended my existing network via wired method.
